Gates Fun Run, Walk, and Roll T-shirt Order Form due Friday, September 12th

Please fill out the Gates Fun Run, Walk, and Roll t-shirt order form (below) and submit it with any payment (cash or check made out to Gates School PTO) in an envelope no later than end of the school day on Friday, September 12th. We are asking parents to please support the purchase of t-shirts for every student by donating $8.00 per student. If you have already paid for the t-shirt through the pre-pay bundle, please write "PTO pre-pay bundle" on the form when you return it. If we do not receive size information for your child, we will order a t-shirt based on grade size estimates.


The Gates Fun Run, Walk, and Roll fundraiser event will take place on Wednesday, October 8 at 10 am on the Elm Street Fields. Each t-shirt will have the event name on the front. As participants run, walk, hop, skip, roll, or dance around a specially marked track, a sticker on their back will be marked to keep tally of the laps.


You will receive an email in a few weeks from the PTO that will have complete information on the event and how to register your student on Booster for the fundraiser.  Thank you!

PTO Event Payment Bundle
 
The Gates PTO Event Bundle will again be available for the 25/26 school year. For those who are able, you will have the opportunity to pre-pay for a bundle of PTO events through a one-time donation until September 19th.
 
The pre-pay bundle is $50 per student and includes (1) one entry to the Fall Family Picnic, (2) one Spelling Bee registration, (3) one Cultural Showcase entry ticket, (4) one Robotics/STEAM Fair entry, (5) one Ice Cream or one 6th Grade Social games wristband, and (6) one Fun Run, Walk, and Roll t-shirt.


We are a recognized 501(c)3 non-profit institution (EIN: 04-3079185), so all contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent under the law.
 
Many companies offer donation matching programs, so consider asking your company to match your donation. Cash and checks should be sent to the school office. Checks should be made out to “Gates PTO."  You can also donate online through PayPal by visiting our website or scanning the code below. Make sure to note your student's name(s) and mark it as a bundle payment on your check or in PayPal.

Save the Date: Fall Family Picnic

All are invited to the Fall Family Picnic on Friday, September 19th on the Boardwalk playground (if it rains, we will be in the cafeteria).


Bring your dinner and meet us on the playground! The PTO will have games, prizes, and fall treats! A suggested donation of $10 per family for games and treats. 


Come enjoy the fall weather and connect with other families!




Save the Date: Scholastic Book Fair

We are having a Scholastic book fair on Friday, September 19th in the Learning Commons during the Fall Family Picnic.

Families can also shop online for the book fair between September 19th and October 2nd using this link. We need volunteers to set up the books and manage the cash register. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up here.

Gates Spirit Wear Store is Open!

Check out the Gates Spirit Wear Store! Show your Gates pride with hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and more—perfect for Gates spirit days and year-round wear. A portion of all proceeds goes towards the Gates School PTO, funding Gates School student enrichment programs. The deadline to order will be Sunday, September 21st.



Box Tops for Education

The Box Tops for Education program is an easy way to earn cash for Gates school. Please visit  https://www.boxtops4education.com/ to download the free BoxTops app. Once you install the app, follow the simple instructions to set up your account. You can search our school by name or zip code. Then simply scan your receipts. For each box top collected via the app, Gates receives 10 cents donation, and it really adds up.


Results are in, and we earned $26.90 for our school in August!
